CBC brutally poisons more dogs.
Clifton Cantonment Board has been at it again. They were about to kill the dog that survived last time but we caught them at the right time. However others weren’t so lucky. well regarding the CBC action i dont agree with it at all, they can find another solution for it, why kill an animal so brutually, every life on this universe is precious whether its animal life or humans, We as humans should value life because respect for life is taught in every religion, just that animals cant do a strike or protest u can kill them easily, thats totally unbearable, and any organization killing animals like this is not showing a good picture to the society.killing these dogs because they r stray doesnt satisfy me at all, wat if this is aplied on humans, will we not stand for that.justice should be provided to every living life on this universe as it is their right.
Mona. You live in the “civilized world”. I never once said that stray dogs are not a hazard, but does that mean you poison them, walk away, and let them die a slow death and then rot on the streets? Is this what value one should have for “life”? I’d like to see you do that on the streets of London. The only difference is, when it happens in Karachi, YOUR STRONG VOICES endorse the killing. When it would happen in London, the government would probably fall.
Now a solution. How do you deal with stray dogs in the civilized world? I think the “civilized people” of the “civilized world” should force the “uncivilized world” to adopt “civilized mechanisms”, instead of endorsing “uncivilized actions”.
As for the not letting your dog out. FOR THE ONE THOUSANDTH TIME. The dog that was killed a few weeks ago, was neutered, vaccinated, certified, registered, collared, escorted. Just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.
As for the statement made by you “but stray dogs are vermin FACT and I repeat their population should be controlled and ultimately ended. This can be done without killing if the necc. facilities exist. I personally think that dogs running around the streets are a hazard and a nuisance”. Try to see it in the light of current politics. How one group sees the other as “vermin” and chooses to remove the “nuisance”.
Forgive my aggression, but the situation, our apathy, and endorsement of a grave injustice, is not something I can accept sitting down. My beliefs teach me to stand up for the right.
