1.5 Brick vali mosque

In the past one week, I’ve come across at least 10 different groups trying to do their own little thing to collect funds or materials for the internally displaced persons crisis.  What I don’t understand is that why aren’t they all working under the same umbrella?  Why must every small group make their own effort? Could someone form an umbrella group that streamlines and organizes all these pocket-efforts?

Obvious question: Why don’t I put my money where my mouth is?  Because, I really don’t have the resources to do it.  I wish I did.  I hope some group or organization would take the initiative and work to make this relief effort a cohesive one.
